Lean into the Good
What are you stewarding right now? The summer before my senior year of college: its an exciting but intimidating time. Many questions hang in the air, and it does not take long for my thoughts to spiral. Am I making enough money this summer? What would I do if ___ happens? If God led me ___ then I could do ___. If I did ___, then God could open these doors… When am I going to find someone? Will I ever? What am I actually going to do after I graduate? All of these thoughts revolved around the future, something that had not even happened yet. I try to apply today’s reality to next month or next year’s, even if the same just does not apply. It's human nature to wonder about whatever is next, and it can absolutely be a good thing. We cannot always sit around and wait for God to tell us to get up and do something.
